We are growing here at St. John, and there is a resurgence of energy as we envision new ways to “be church” together. We would love to have you with us on this journey. We are a loving and welcoming family of worship, and we welcome you and want you to come just as you are.
As a “Believe Out Loud” congregation, we welcome everyone. We believe in inclusion for all people regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, there is room under our roof to continue that journey. We, too, are always looking for deeper connections as we walk with Jesus, so please join us in this magnificent spiritual journey, a journey that takes us from the pews in the church into the community to reach out to the feed the hungry and assist those in need.
St. John is also a place of healing, wholeness, and recovery. Here you can wrestle with the big questions of life and explore paths to spiritual wholeness. In addition to our Sunday service of Eucharist, we often have a mid-week healing service, and twelve-step recovery groups also meet in our meeting rooms. These are all open to the community of Bandon and all visitors. Church can be the best place to find new and deeper connections with the Lord. Perhaps that is because we honor the ancient traditions and mysteries of the Christian faith, but we are also open-minded and progressive.
